BONUS POST!!!

I did not see this 2.0 site anywhere in our activities but I thought it would be great to share.
Scoop it is a great site (click here to visit) that basically is a live bookmarking site that allows you to make comments on site and tag them.  Check out the video below for more information.  You can visit my scoop it for sociology by clicking here.

I can envision using this site in class as a way to enrich the material and to give real world examples. Particularly, I think for those students who are always completing the work quickly and mastering it, the site could serve as a source of enrichment material.

  1. Franta already mentioned it in his first post. I thought you were following him...maybe you should read it. BTW where did you find this incredible tool! :)

  2. I got this incredible tool from some guy who is always like "look at this" and "look at this." It's like he has no life.

  3. This Scoop-It tool is intriguing - I'm going to look into this for my summer math camp that my wife and I run.

P.S. I still hate you for finishing the entirety of 10 activities in June.

  4. This is great - thanks for sharing! I could definitely use this on a personal level and at school. I feel like the video kind of touched on this but it wasn't completely clear to me - is there a button or something you can download that automatically adds a website or an article you are reading to your Scoop. It? Similar to Pinterest, if you are familiar, the "Pin It" feature is a button right on my Bookmarks bar of my Chrome browser that I can use to "pin" (bookmark) anything I am looking at to my Pinterest "boards" without me ever directly going to Pinterest.

    1. Yep there is an extension you can add in both chrome and firefox. It works just like the "pin" of pinterest.
